Its patented Flex-to-Fit form factor allows for quick, secure placement and removal so hitters can focus on timing, feel, and preparation without altering their game bat.
Shot Collar is compatible with all bat barrels 2 1/2" and larger, including all game-legal wooden bats (excluding oversized or uniquely shaped knobs), making it a dependable on-deck tool for players at every level.

Choose your Shot Collar weight based on the player’s size, strength, and level of development.
- 16 oz: Great for younger athletes under 140 pounds.
- 20 oz: Recommended for players around 145 pounds and above, most JV players, and varsity players looking to get loose.
- 24 oz: Recommended for players over 190 pounds, stronger JV and varsity players, and collegiate or professional hitters.
Slide Shot Collar over the bat barrel with the panel openings facing toward the barrel. As it slides onto the bat, the patented Flex-to-Fit Technology expands to conform to today’s bat profiles.
Once it’s in position, give it a simple push with your thumb to secure it in place. Do not slam it on. Shot Collar is designed to grip the bat without excessive force.
No. Shot Collar is a weighted bat training aid designed for dry swings on deck and during practice. It is not intended for hitting baseballs or softballs. For hitters looking for a training aid that can be used during tee work, flips, or live batting practice, check out La Bomba (coming soon).
Shot Collar is designed to twist or tap off when training is complete. Its patented Flex-to-Fit Technology grips the bat during training without requiring you to force it on.
