Shot Collar: What advice would you give to high school athletes getting ready to play in college?
James: So the advice I'd give to a high school kid who's getting ready to play in college is come in and learn. Your best asset is your ability to obtain and use the knowledge that you are given from the older guys, from the coaches, from sources that you know are respectable. These guys that have played in college know exactly what they're talking about. They've been through a lot of the same things that you will end up going through, so to come in and learn from these guys that have had the experience, that is extremely important for your development and growth in the game of baseball, especially as the game continues to speed up.
